Codes are a fun way play without needing to worry about the limitations of obtaining items "normally". Instead of needing to traverse the whole map in search of a vehicle or weapon, you can enter in a code and jump straight into the action.

We have all the GTA 5 codes for PS4 and PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360, and PC. We also have the cell phone codes plus dozens of guides telling you exactly how to use all the codes for maximum effect and enjoyment.

The codes themselves are divided into five different categories (player effects, combat effects, items codes, world effects and vehicle spawns) and can be activated using either: the traditional controller button combo method (works on all console versions); by entering a specific code using your keyboard; or by dialling certain numbers using the in-game cell phone.

Player Effects: These are codes like fast run, super jump, invincibility, etc.

Items: These are the "give items" type codes, currently "give parachute" and "give all weapons".

World Effects: These change the environment within the game, for example, changing the weather, activating moon gravity and slow motion.

Spawn Vehicles: These are the easiest, as the name suggests if you use these codes then a particular vehicle will spawn.
